Creamed Oysters

Serving: 2

Preparation time: 20 min


  • 25 Oysters

  • 2 cups of cream

  • 2 cups of sour cream

  • Salt, pepper and paprika to taste

  • 1 clove garlic, chopped


1.       Add cream and sour cream and mix thoroughly

2.       Scald the oysters until the edges begin to curl, drain and drop them into the cream sauce .

3.       Scald all at low temperature for 5 min.

4.       Add garlic, salt, pepper and paprika.

Serve this tasty Oyster Recipe in Swedish timbales or in pate shells. It is very nice used as a filling for short cake, croustade  or on toast.
